Have you ever wanted to read Japanese news in Japanese?
日本のニュースを日本語で読んでみたいと思った事がありますか。
The words used in news reports can be a bit difficult, so it might be hard to read for people who are just beginning to learn Japanese.
ニュースで使われる言葉は、少し難しい単語が使われていたりして、日本語を習い始めた人にとっては、読みにくいものかもしれません。
Today, I will introduce a news site written in simple Japanese for people like that.
今日はそんな人のために、簡単な日本語で書かれた日本語のニュースサイトを紹介します。
NHK Easy Japanese News
It’s called “Easy Japanese News.” All the words include reading aids, and easy-to-understand vocabulary is used.
その名も「やさしいことばニュース」です。全ての単語に送り仮名が打ってあり、分かりやすい単語を使っています。

How to Use
Proper nouns like people's names are colored, and when you click the colored text, an explanation appears. You can also remove the color and furigana (kana readings) if you like.
人の名前などの固有名詞は文字に色がついていて、色の文字を押すと、説明も出てきます。色を消したり、漢字の読み方を消す事もできますよ。
